Some dedicated ladies from NUASM have been meeting regularly with ladies from the Prairie Alliance Church, and over a period of weeks have produced several blue jean quilts which are being distributed to needy folks by the Bear Clan organization of Brandon. Caring for others shows true Christmas spirit ... thank you ladies!
The Mitten Tree in our foyer is collecting donations of mitts, scarves, gloves, hats and socks which will be donated to the Salvation Army. Thanks folks for making someone's Christmas warmer!
These toys and presents were donated by members of our community of faith, and are being donated to the local Salvation Army for inclusion in the Christmas hampers which they distribute at this time of year.
In mid-December our NUASM ladies baked 82 dozen cookies and delivered over 60 cookie trays primarily to sick, shut in or recently bereaved members of our faith family. Thank you to those who organized this initiative and all the ladies who baked, assembled and delivered the trays. This is NUASM Christmas spirit in action!
